Sheelah Zink - Administrator
Hi, my name is Sheelah Zink and I wear many hats at St. Anne’s Center. In 1992, I answered an ad in the paper looking for a part-time Pre-K teacher and thus began my career here. In 1994, I added the position of teaching Nursery School as well as Program Director. These new responsibilities proved to be more rewarding than I ever imagined as I continued to grow professionally and build a top-notch program. The year 2001 threw yet another hat on my head as I added the responsibilities of St. Anne’s Center Administrator. This position encompasses overseeing every facet of the Center and ensuring that the programs offered at the Center are the best that they can be. I am proud of what St. Anne’s stands for and what we have to offer the community and the families we serve.
On a personal note, I live in Palmyra with my husband and three wonderful children, all of whom are graduates of programs at St. Anne’s! My husband and I are both lifelong residents of Palmyra and enjoy the sense of community we feel here. When I am not at St. Anne’s, attending my kid’s various sports events, or taking care of the household duties, I enjoy knitting, scrap booking, or just listening to relaxing music sipping a cup of hot cocoa!
Sherri Cruickshank - Child Care Director
When I started working at St. Anne’s, sixteen years ago, I was hired to work as an assistant in the CC 3 & 4 room. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in every program we offer. I have a BA in Human Development and Early Childhood.
I am married and have two girls who have had the opportunity to experience all the programs that we offer here at the center. The girls have enjoyed them all over the years! As a family we enjoy camping, boating and surrounding ourselves with family and friends.
Nancie Spencer - Administrative Assistant/Building Manager
My name is Nancie Spencer and I have been with St. Anne’s Family Resource Center as Administrative Assistant/Building Manager for nine years. I am the one that usually answers the phone and gladly accepts your parent payments and manages your accounts.
My two sons are grown and I have become a first time grandmother of twin boys! I enjoy skyping and visiting the grandchildren, searching family history, making lame attempts at sewing projects and sometimes scrapbooking.

After graduating from SUNY Geneseo and starting my own family, I answered an ad in the paper looking for a part time Pre-K teacher and thus began my career here. After all these years, I am excited and rewarded each and every day I am in the classroom witnessing the growth and development of the children. I am proud of what St. Anne’s stands for and what we have to offer the community and the families we serve. Beth Maldonado – Teacher Assistant
Hi, my name is Beth Maldonado. I am a proud mom of two boys.
This is my first year at St. Anne’s and am excited to have this opportunity to work with the children. I have taken several child development classes. I love volunteering at the local community theatre, going to art festivals and painting and drawing.
Sharleen Tremfer – Teacher Assistant
My name is Sharleen Tremfer and I have been working with children in many different capacities for 20 years. I have an AA in Early Childhood from FLCC and a BA in Psychology and Education from St. John Fisher. I have been employed at St Anne's as both an assistant and a substitute (in all areas) for the past 7 years. I am currently working in the Nursery program with Mrs.Zink and Miss Beth. I am thrilled to be part of the St. Anne's family and truly enjoy watching the children grow and learn. I love the "light bulb" moments!
I am married and have two boys ages 6 and 11 (who are also St. Anne's alumni). As a family we love to explore the outdoors. I also like to read, cheer my children on in their various sports, and catch up with family and friends whenever possible
Pre - Kindergarten
Terry Hagen - Pre –K and Child Care Teacher
I am starting my third year at St. Anne’s. I am a South Seneca High School graduate and have an Early Childhood Development Associate Credential. I am continuing updates in education for Early Childhood development.
My husband and I live in Palmyra. Both my son and daughter have their own families but live in the surrounding area and are close enough to keep us busy and active with our grandchildren. We are looking forward to a 3rd grandchild in March of 2010!
Aside from spending time with my grandchildren, I enjoy cooking, crafting, music, cycling, and hiking.

Judy Herrick - Teacher
I am Mrs. Herrick. I have been teaching UPK at St. Anne’s Center for nine years. I am a Palmyra Macedon graduate and have a BA from Roberts Wesleyan College with a permanent certification through SUNY Potsdam.
My husband and I live in Marion, New York I have a son, Michael and daughter – in-law, Tracy and a daughter, Robin and son – in – law, Michael. I enjoy gardening, canning, and crafting – especially knitting, sewing, and counted cross stitch.
Debbie Rodman - Teacher's Assistant
My name is Debbie Rodman. This is my sixth year at St. Anne’s. I have four children ages 20 – 31 and a grandson. I love working with the little children!
Tim Bond - Teacher
Hello. My name is Tim Bond. I recently graduated from SUNY Oswego and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree at SUNY Brockport. I enjoy hanging out with my two younger brothers, playing video games, reading, and following the NHL. I also enjoy roller hockey.
I have had many experiences working with children ranging from childcare, to refereeing youth roller hockey, to tutoring and substitute teaching. This is my first year at St. Anne’s. I love being a classroom teacher and all the joys and challenges that come with it. I look forward to having a successful year!
Donna Best - Teacher's Assistant
In the past two years, I have worked with special education students; in child care with toddlers; and as a bus monitor. I am very excited that this is my first year working at St. Anne’s.
My husband and I have four wonderful children and we have lived here for thirteen years.
Jennifer Voss - Teacher's Assistant
My name is Jennifer Voss and have had many opportunities to work with children. I was the Assistant Nursery School Teacher from April – June of 2009, a substitute Mommy and Me Teacher, a substitute UPK Assistant teacher at the Center and a Preschool Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Children’s Center for 4 years and a weekly volunteer at in the Palmyra Elementary School classrooms since 2000.
I am married and a mother of four children who are involved in many arts and sports. I currently serve as the president of the Palmyra Community Library’s Board of Trustees and a member of the Village of Palmyra Planning Board. In my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking.
Cortney Davie - Teacher's Assistant
Hello my name is Cortney Davie. I assist Judy Herrick in the UPK class. This is my first year at St. Anne’s and I absolutely love it. I learn something new every day from the kids. I have been doing childcare now for 10 years on my own as well. It is so rewarding working with children on a daily basis. When I am not at St. Anne’s, I am nannying. I also love being outdoors, whether I am walking the dogs, going for a hike, or reading a good book. I look forward to a wonderful and eventful year at St. Anne’s. I am happy to be part of the St. Anne’s family!
Child Care
Tracy Hamilton - Teacher's Assistant
Hi, my name is Tracy Hamilton. I have worked at St. Anne’s for the past eight years. I have had the pleasure of working with all age groups in child care. I have watched a lot of children grow from the 3rd and 4 year old room through the SAII room. It has been a lot of fun! I, also, took on the job as cleaner for the center.
Terry Hagen - Teacher
My husband and I live in Palmyra. Both my son and daughter have their own families but live in the surrounding area and are close enough to keep us busy and active with a grandchild and preparing for another blessing on the way.
My hobbies are reading, writing short stories, biking and hiking. I also love to cook and I plan our meals with healthy low fat/high fiber foods. I am passionate about teaching children about various exercise and healthy food choices.
This is my second year teaching Pre-K at St. Anne's. I consider myself fortunate to share my gifts and talents with children. They are life's greatest resource and the investment I contribute to them will pay an endless dividend for not only their success, but for a better earth.
